My name Khalid Rashid
Hi, I am Khalid Rashid. I am the creator of Rayners Close and I would like to put sort of a portfolio of what I do and what I am learning to show the progress of a young filmmaker in the process.
I am on the path of filmmaking and creating my own ideas and making all of them reality no matter how saturated and odd it is... I know one day I'll be sat in a cinema watching my movie InshAllah.

Foley Sounds
What is Foley Sounds and Why it's important?
One of the most fascinating aspects of film production is the creation of foley sounds, which help to bring movies to life. My classes are carefully designed to cover all elements of the production process, including sound recording and design, giving students like me the tools they need to create and utilize sounds in their future films.
Our curriculum focuses on teaching our students the art of foley sound production and how to use it to create a cinematic masterpiece. We learn how to use different sound effects to complement the visuals and create an immersive experience for the audience. We graduate ready to create films that captivate and inspire their viewers.
In this example I was tasked to use sounds I found online with an empty template of the video with only the voices and try to make the video complete again.
I decided to use a Wallace and Gromit clip and find sounds online to create the atmosphere of the original. It took a while but I managed to get there in the end.
